I've moved 3 times in the past, most of the time with different companies but I just had the best move in my life on the last week with this one. They gave us a very accurate estimate over the phone and help us plan our move. Soon their local dispatch called us and confirmed the job and went over the details. He also seemed very polite and professional, and assured us everything is going as it planed and the movers will come tomorrow @ 9 am. Not only did they show up on time but they packed nearly our entire apartment. Shortly after arriving, the Forman provided us with detailed information about the day and they started to work right away. Thank god they came with extra boxes and moving supplies and actually that we didn't even realize we will be needed! The packing obviously took much longer but once we arrived at our house they unpacked us in record time and even help us to reassemble some of our furniture. This was a painless move and really had a great time with the movers. The guys were very nice and honest and they couldn't make the move faster and more efficient and I must say, we were extremely pleased with their service. Very fast, friendly and efficient and very professional company which I wouldn't hesitate to use again and highly recommend to everybody!

Great service! We are extemely happy with our move. They showed up on the contracted date and delivered in the 4 hour window we preferred and although it wasn't guaranteed, they made an effort and had it done which we greatly appreciate. Highly Recommended, I would recommend this moving company to all my friends and would use them again in a heartbeat. No slackers here, the 3 guys really moved quickly and yet never dropped or banged a thing. Plus, they were just about the most cheerful and nice movers ever.Alex was great, very quick to respond to my emails setting up the move and the final price was about $175 lower than the estimate. They were all I could ask for and more!

New York City Certified Movers were great with getting my things packed and moved. When I called the office they were more than helpful in making sure I got the information I needed or asked for. Their pricing was great with the gas prices being what they are and compared to other quotes. When they showed up (on time) they started right in and humped the things that needed to be packed quick and efficiently. They did not drag their feet to prolong the process. In fact we finished well ahead of my expectations by hours. There was no breakage of my belongings either. They wrapped and packed things very well. I had over 15 large pieces of glass from table tops and mirrors that they loaded, moved and unloaded without any problems. They were upbeat and happy to be working.

We know high definition, plasma TVs, touch screens and how to find any song in your collection in seconds. We don't know shipping. But New York City Certified Movers does. Call them with the shipping address and they will fax all the necessary paperwork. My people aren?t spending their time shipping, they?re still with clients

New York City Certified Movers is by far the best moving company i dealt with. i move very often for work and I hate the whole process. my experience with flatrate moving was very different. i paid a little more than i usually do but i got the service i deserve. everyone in this company are super professional, the movers,the office staff,the dispatcher and the drivers. I recieve my goods in time as promised and in the same condition i sent them. I strongly recommend to use them. after all, you get what you pay for.

I used Mike from the New York City Certified Movers on Sunday to pack up our apartment. He came with a crew of two men and they had our entire apartment packed in 4.5 hours. We are moving on Saturday and I hope they send Mike back to finish the job because he was really attentive to our specific needs and his crew worked very hard.

On November 28, New York City Certified Movers moved me from Brooklyn to Manhattan. The movers were wonderful. They did everything to make it an efficient move and even helped me decide where to put the furniture. They even moved a heavy piece to another spot when I changed my mind. They are Great!!

This past month I had to move out of my apartment, and a friend recommended me to call New York City Certified Movers, and check their way of work. Ive called, and talked to Mike, who explained to me everything I need to know about the move, and told me the whole real price, with no hidden fees, based on the items that I moved. The move happened a few days after. The guys were polite and professional, worked hard and fast, and in no time the move was complete and the price was precise to the guaranteed price they promised and stood on their word! If you want to have a smooth, easy move I recommend you give them a call.

The quality of work that New York City Certified Movers had done was outstanding! My move was the best it could have been all thanks to the remarkable crew. They showed up on time and handled everything professionally, doing their job and making sure that everything was in perfect condition. They made it all so easy for me. New York City Certified Movers were fantastic?not only did they arrive early, but they were all so very pleasant and upbeat. They worked extremely hard, were extremely courteous and accommodating to my needs. I did not hear them complain at all. I believe they put in 150% effort during the move. Because of their expertise and their positive attitude, I would recommend them specifically and New York City Certified Movers in general to anyone who needs movers. This is my first review ever. I don't even like doing online stuff like this, but these guys were so great-quick, professional, extremely reasonably priced, flexible-they fit my emergency move in at the last minute AND on a holiday weekend, patient & helpful-especially with some of my poorly packed boxes-that I had to compliment them. They were fantastic all around. Not only do I plan to use them in the future for any other moves, but also I'm recommending them to everyone i know!

New York City Certified Movers has moved my 84 year old mother yesterday. They were respectful, showed up on time and worked very hard. Wrapped all delicate items and worked efficiently and had her moved from a small second floor apartment to another second floor apartment in under four hours. I'll use them when I move, and recommend them to anyone moving in NY!

New York City Certified Movers helped the husband and I move from a one bedroom/loft in Brooklyn to a one bedroom in Manhattan exactly one month ago today. Good deal, on-time arrival at 10 AM as requested, super professional care, excellent service, friendly communication, efficient use of their time and our time. FYI: Book early if you desire a weekend move - with almost a month in advance we still had to settle for a Thursday or a Monday. Considering the savings (compared to our previous moves with a national chain) however, they were definitely worth taking the day off work. SUMMARY: We're glad we moved with this company and will more than likely be ringing them up within a year or two the next time we move. Thanks again, New York City Certified Movers

Moving is one of my least favorite things in life, perhaps tied along with going to the dentist. Unfortunately for me, I have to move almost as often as I go to the dentist, whether for school, work, etc. This time I decided I was not going to do this on my own and decided to hire some professionals. I called New York City Certified Movers- about 4 days before my move and they were able to get the time/day I needed with no trouble. The women who helped me were really friendly and asked all the right questions about my move so she could get the info she needed to the movers. I told her I had a couch that would likely have to be hoisted over the balcony because it wouldn't fit through the door, and she said that was no problem. I chose 3 movers for $ 105/hr (because 3 men were needed for the couch). The morning of moving day, the movers showed up at the scheduled time. Once they got there, they worked quickly and efficiently, and were super friendly. They hoisted the couch over the balcony with no trouble at all, and shrink wrapped all my stuff to keep it protected. Then they drove from Pasadena to the storage unit in OC where my stuff was being stored. They got slightly lost, but didn't charge me for that extra time when it came time to settle the bill. All in all, the move couldn't have gone more smoothly, and they were super careful with all of my belongings. I highly recommend them and would use them again

My experience with the New York Movers was above and beyond anything I was expecting. I was prepared for a no-frills type of move--I'm low-maintenance and also saw prior reviews about potential gruff telephone interactions. The person with whom I scheduled my move was incredibly pleasant and followed up a few days before the date to confirm. Everything went swimmingly from start to finish. First of all, they were punctual, arriving at our apartment at exactly the time they said they would. There were three guys and they HUSTLED. They were literally jogging back and forth to make sure that it was the most efficient move possible. Even my boyfriend--who was somewhat skeptical of New York City Certifeid Moving, sight unseen--was very impressed. As for price, was very affordable. Everything that was mentioned to me over the phone was the prices that were provided for me. Incredibly professional, polite and earnest New York City Certified Movers have secured my boyfriend and my business for all future moves. Keep up the great work, guys! Pros: Great Service

This company (New York City Certified Movers ) was not only easy to work with they were extremely helpful in orchestrating our move from Manhattan, NY to New Jersey on October 24th. Their customer service lady was exceptional in every aspect of our move from the driver communicating with us for our pick up, packing our items, and delivery everything was truly professional. Several family members are also planning moves from various parts of the country and they are already either in negotiations with your movingday agents or already have contracted them. I would give New York City Certified Movers a great thumbs up.
